Objectives and competences
The aim of the course is to introduce (theoretically and practically) to student philosophy for children, to train them to transfer knowledge into practice and to develop their skills for developing basic elements of ethical thinking with children.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Ethical (and other) dilemmas.
• Creative and critical thinking at ethics with children.
• Ethics of care and having a safe place to be.
• From group to research society.
• Narrativeness and ethics with children.
• Teacher and facilitator: authority vs. a role model.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
In the end of this course the student will be able to:
• justify the importance and role of ethics in the educational process,
• understand and to place fundamental principles of ethics with children,
• understand processes in ethics with children,
• develop particular elements of ethical thinking with children,
• plan, implement and evaluate particular elements of “teaching” ethics with children.
