Objectives and competences

- to present the importance of projects and project management in ensuring the sustainability of (manufacturing) companies, - to demonstrate how to plan a sustainable project (project documentation) is done in practice, - to train students to plan, organize, implement and control sustainable projects effectively, - to train students in digital support for project planning and management. Competences: - Understanding and solving green issues in organisations that are interdisciplinary in nature and require a project-based approach for their solution. - Ability for teamwork. - Ability to use digital tools for the project planning and management process.

- Project management for corporate sustainability - Selecting and evaluating sustainable projects - Project start-up process - Digital project planning and scheduling - Digital project resource and cost planning - Digital project control and implementation

Learning and teaching methods

1. frontal lectures with real-life cases, 2. computer work, 3. project work, 4. presentation of project work.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and understanding: - identify basic methods and techniques to plan, organize, implement and control sustainable projects, - design project schedule plan, project budget and project resource plan, - organize and control project implementation, - design project plans and reports with support of digital tools, - evaluate projects from content, technical, economical, sustainable and green perspective.
